My Place in the Shire

Just imagine a tree trunk the size of a Volkswagen rising a mere three or four feet above the ground before stretching out its magnificent weeping branches, strong enough to support our weight yet flexible enough to allow us to straddle the branch and bounce as it were a sort of springing teeter-totter. It became one of the regular meet-up place for all the neighboring kids.
