Kimberly Johnson is a yoga teacher, writer, and bodyworker who dedicates her work to understanding what it means to be a woman in traditions that have been passed down for generations from men, to men. She loves to work with women who have the courage to extend the borders of their spiritual understanding to include their personal and physical experiences, especially their sexuality.
Kimberly works with women to deconstruct taboos and to soften the opposition between what is considered spiritual and what is considered sexual. She works with women individually, both in person and via Skype. She also leads workshops in Brazil, Portugal and the United States. She believes that the next wave of feminism is women reclaiming their power as women through deep lived experience of their physical bodies as allies, portals to the other levels of being-ness. She is currently at work on a book honoring the unexpected physical, spiritual, psychological, and sexual changes that women live in becoming mothers.
