30 Day Green Smoothie Challenge

Green Smoothie Drinkers, start your blenders!

One of the best ways to kick-start a healthy new start is by starting each day with an 8-ounce green smoothie.

Green smoothie with strawTo get you started, here’s what’s in our favorite smoothie:

  • 5 kale leaves
  • 2 bananas
  • 1/2 cup frozen or fresh blueberries
  • thumb sized piece of ginger root, peeled
  • 1 tsp of coconut oil
  • filtered water

If you don’t have these ingredients, create one of your own using fresh fruits and dark leafy greens like kale, spinach or dandelion greens. Pop everything into a blender or Vitamix and blend for a full minute until everything is completely pulverized…no chunks allowed! Experiment with the amount of liquid until you discover your preferred consistency.
