Do you have the patience?

We live in a culture that encourages speed.

Express lanes.

Faster response time.

When the pressure’s on to move faster and do more, it’s not easy to wait. Sometimes going ahead and taking that leap IS the right action.

But it’s all about timing, and getting still enough to listen.

Graduate Spotlight: “Create While You Wait”

When Danielle started taking VIVA’s courses four years ago, she was ready for a change. She dreamed of opening a yoga studio and making it her full time job, and she felt stuck in a toxic environment that was the antithesis of the environment she craved.

Deep down, she knew it would happen.

It just didn’t feel like the right time.

While listening to her inner wisdom, Danielle decided to stay at her job and devoted her energy to making her corner of the world something that fed her soul.

When she wasn’t at work, Danielle made beautiful art, she worked on a book, she increased the weekend classes she was leading, and she took very intentional steps toward the big plan.

It was a long four years, but it was also an incredibly creative time.

Then last week, Danielle got the motherload of signs. It was TIME.

She knew it when she felt it. She saw that the foundation was there and path was clear, and she jumped.

Sometimes high-speed is the way.

Sometimes, the “right action” is worth the wait.

“Do you have the patience to wait / Till your mud settles and the water is clear?
Can you remain unmoving / Till the right action arises by itself?” ― Lao Tzu
