Welcome to Viva's holistic & live food rejuvenation retreat in the beautiful coastal mountains of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. During this special week, you will  improve your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual state by immersing yourself in a wonderful and resting natural environment, eating healthy live foods, participating in fun and life-changing seminars, and connecting with a supportive community of people who are seeking to create more balanced, abundant, and fulfilling lives.  

Throughout the retreat, Chef Tiana Rodrigues (owner of live food restaurant Universo Orgânico in Rio) will teach, prepare and serve live, raw, organic and vegetarian dishes to help cleanse your body and increase your energy and creativity.



You will also have the opportunity to attend classes, lectures and seminars led by reknowned guest speakers in the areas of live food, health education, holistic practices, personal growth, etc.

We believe that the world is going through a critical period of change in which it is necessary to raise our vital energies. Therefore, our retreats are not only about improving your physical health. In order for you to experience better events and circumstances in your life, it is also important that you work with your emotions, thoughts and beliefs. During our week-long retreat we offer two transformative workshops led by Leigh Hopkins and Helena Baronheid (owners of Viva Institute) on how to manifest (create) your goals and new visions for your work and life, and how to transform the mental and emotional blockages that keep you from healing your life and actualizing your dreams.  

During our retreats, you will also participate in yoga, meditation, individual coaching, Reiki and Shiatsu sessions, and intuitive readings.

1. Two nights in Rio de Janeiro
2. Ground transportation to and from our retreat location and the City of Rio de Janeiro 
3. Six nights at beautiful and comfortable "pousadas" (inns), located in the subtropical forests of the Serra dos Orgaos mountain ranges, surrounded by springs, waterfalls, trails, and amazing wildlife. Shared rooms (2 people). Individual rooms are available for an additional price
4. All fresh, raw food meals, juices, etc. included in the 5 days of the seminar. Special closing live food brunch on Saturday
5. Yoga and meditation in the morning
6. 5 days of seminars, workshops and services offered by Viva Institute:

• 2 days of live food with chef Tiana Rodrigues and Helena Baronheid and our featured guest speaker and teacher
• 2 days of Viva workshops with Helena Baronheid and Leigh Hopkins
• 1 afternoon and 3 days for resting and/or participating in Viva's optional programs (tours in Rio and Petropolis, and Viva services such as Reiki, coaching, shiatsu, etc). Optional services are not included in the fee.

In addition, we will do a raffle drawing for the following services:

• One Reiki session
• One coaching session with Helena Baronheid 

Although ground transportation in the US, air transportation to Brazil,  and travel visas are not included in our price, we do provide you with recommendation on how and where to find cheaper fares to Brazil and on how to get your travel visa, etc. Although fares vary and are not guaranteed, we estimate that an airfare to Brazil will cost about $500-600.00 round trip in May 2010
